About James C. Hurt
James C. Hurt established Hurt Financial Services in 2001 after an accomplished tenure with Morgan Stanley, one of the world's leading financial services firms. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Hurt dedicated 21 years to active duty in the United States Army.
In 2013, in response to the Affordable Care Act, Hurt Financial Services transitioned from a financial services company to an insurance brokerage, rebranding to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Mr. Hurt is a seasoned professional who held multiple financial advisory licenses, including Series 7, Series 31, Series 63, and Series 65. Currently, he carries a Life and Health Insurance License. He earned his degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
